more water woes
Oh. That's nice. No hot water. At all. It's freezing.

UPDATE, 12:34PM - Seems the pilot light blew out. Wendy re-lit it, so we should have hot water again.

Well, if the stove works, you could boil water and combine it with cold in the tub to take a hot bath. Not quite a shower, and it would take a while, but at least it would be warm.

Nope. Washed my hair in cold water. Again. At least this time it was running water, not poured out of a bottle.

lol where the H do you live?!

My apartment place has like..the biggest hot water tank ever...I can take a showr forever and never get cold water....verrrry nice. Most importantly, I don't pay water, so I can use as much as my little heart desires...I take baths twice a day ;) wee

I'm living with "a friend of a friend", basically. The water heater was replaced a couple of days ago, and it sounds like the new one is smaller and turned down a bit. So, after the homeowner showered and ran the dishwasher this morning - no hot water!

I've lived where I've had to heat water on the stove, or just wash in cold water. Been there, done that, in the wild. Doing it in a nice house is unfathomable to me, I guess.
